At BMI we offer a range of personal development courses designed to broaden your skills and interests.
Selling Skills
This course will appeal to a broad spectrum of people interested in the art of sales or needing to improve their selling skills. The aim of the course is to look at the role of the salesperson, how to conduct oneself in a sales envirnoment, the critical competencies required for selling successfully, and importantly the role communication skills play in both the sales function and reporting to your colleagues.
• Tuition Fee: €450. Evening tuition and two day release available.
• Evening courses are held from 7pm to 9.00pm for six weeks. Next course start date 6th October, 2009.
• All course materials are provided and are included in the tuition fee.
Running Your Own Business
The content covered in this course will be valuable to any entrepreneur thinking of, or running a small business. The course looks at the various elements involved in running a business including the following: Legal entities, the preparation of a business plan, taxation, the marketing function, the importance of the proper management of resources, etc.

Life Coaching
A life coach is a person who questions an individuals motivations in life and helps an individual move forward in all areas of life. This course is designed to bring you on a journey of self discovery and help you formulate goals and a plan to fulfil your potential in life. It is highly interactive and supportive.

Jewellery Retail Skills
This course is aimed specifically at the retail jewellery sector where sales staff need to be fully conversant with Diamonds and Gem Jewellery. It will enable participants to sell jewellery to customers from a position of knowledge and close sales with confidence. The course content also covers precious stones, pearls and jewellery design. The objective of this course is to ensure staff are fully confident in the day to day challenges encountered in a Jewellery retail store.
