Diploma in Accounting & Business

The ACCA currently has 345,000 students and members in 170 countries. Many non-accountants would like to increase their knowledge in the area of managing budgets, making financial decisions or may simply wish to increase their understanding of the language of finance.

If you do not have any formal qualifications you will need to register with the ACCA on the Foundations for Accountancy programme and then complete with BMI the following:

  • Three exams: Accountant in Business (FAB), Management Accounting (FMA) and Financial Accounting (FFA)
  • A professionalism and ethics module called Foundations in Professionalism is taken to complete the qualification.

If you complete the Diploma via the Foundations in Accountancy route, you can continue your studies onto the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification and qualify at technician level. Alternatively, you can continue your studies and become a professional-level accountant. Having completed the Diploma, you can transfer to the ACCA Qualification, miss out exams F1, F2 and F3 and continue your studies from F4 onwards.
