The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA) is one of the main Irish accountancy bodies with in excess of 5,000 members and students. The CPA designation is the most commonly used designation worldwide for professional accountants and the Institute's qualification enjoys wide international recognition. The CPA Institute was a founding member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) - the worldwide body and is a member of the Fédération des Experts Comptables Européen (FEE). FEE's membership consists of 44 professional institutes of accountants from 32 countries.

BMI currently offer CPA tuition for Formation 1 and Formation 2. BMI's work placement programme offers course participants the opportunity and support to seek relevant work experience in the sector. Often employers will support succesful applicants in completing the qualification.

Further Training

The CPA designation is the most commonly used designation worldwide for professional accountants and the CPA qualification opens up a wide variety of career opportunities. Typical professional positions include Financial Controllers, Financial Directors and Management Accountants in sectors such as fund management, treasury, banking, insurance and stockbroking. Sixty per cent of CPA members work either in industry and commerce in areas such as financial services, financial and management accounting, taxation, information technology or in the public sector. The remaining forty percent work in practice. CPA's play a pivotal strategic role within management teams and help shape the future of a business.

Course Structure and Pricing

The next course will commence on the 4th of October 2011. Enrol online to register for a course place. Course places are reserved only on the payment of tuition fees.

Formation I
Evening tuition is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.15pm to 9.30pm.
Cost is €480 per subject, study manuals included.
A revision course is included in the tuition fee.

Evening tuition is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.15pm to 9.30pm.
